Trend 1# SS 2015: FLARE LADY

The trend this Spring Summer 2015 saw a revival of comfort and elegance - "The Full Skirt". The extremely tight fitted waist is back from the 1950’s. The figure flattering silhouette with a high waistline adding emphasis to the smallest part of a woman’s torso, hits the runway all over.

We see it in pop, mosaic, geometric and patterned going wild all at once transforming the Full Skirt structure. Once an ensemble to a vintage fashion lover, now has taken on street fashion when paired with either the sexy crop top, bandeau, an elegant blouse or the bold sporty sweatshirt. With a multi matchable styling liberty the full skirt economizes the use of fabric keeping the tone of the era. Laser cut, Geometric illusions and of course the wild patterns woven and bound together add to the voluminous Full Skirt.

Elements of the sunny shade- umbrella open up to form the Full Skirt silhouette. Nature’s call to the centre of attention of a Full Skirt comes from the contours of lilies making the chic outfit look symmetrical and balanced. The architecture of the Full Skirt is closely bound by the alphabet “A” exaggerating the structure of a basic skirt into that of a Runway ready while keeping its aesthetic still as a ready to wear piece.

The Full Skirt has cultivated a fashion statement with the wardrobe must have of the season with a duo of comfort and elegance.
