Always heard that runway was the court of the creative and the fields and playgrounds were meant for the sporty athletes. These two completely diverse realm of work and life have merged into a new fashion aesthetic making the runway a field for trends to play along. Mesh has got out of playgrounds and gyms to now become the fabric of sporty luxe wear. Inspired from uniforms of professional athletes from different genres of sports, designers have manipulated them into creations made from netted, perforated and fishnet fabrics on baggy tees, loose-fitting tanks, ab-baring crop tops and peek-a-boo skirts and hemlines.

One would  be surprised to see how just the simple aspects of being a sportsperson has set forth a trend by designers. Fashion houses take one sporty aspect and into different looks, like a baseball cap design with a rich fabric like leather is  combined to make them totally unexpected (but also awesome) item of clothing.

The white mesh–mash all over the streets and the runway has heightened the edgy and classy forms of sweaters, tanks and tops. White known to be the color of peace, serenity and achievement has clearly washed away its co-colors into becoming the staple color for this trend. All the way from the badminton court net, tennis racket, mesh shuttle cock up to the sporty shoes all add to being the athletic and playful chic.

Teaming up anything white washed with mesh adds texture and movement to the outfit. With utmost ease within the realm of fashion the white mesh pushes style to being innovative, trendy, sporty, youthful and versatile all at the same time. Styling the mesh with bold accessories or clean separates streamlines the silhouettes on and off the runway to be sharp and eye-catching even though their all white! The sporty chic aesthetic of the white washed mesh is reigning in this Spring Summer 2015.
